Verb Voice 动词的语态 Verbs in English have voice, which refers to the relationship between the subject of the sentence and the verb. 动词在英语中有语态，指的是句中主语和动词的关系。 Examples of Verb Voice: 动词语态的例子： There are two verb voices in English: 英语中动词的语态有两种： Active Voice-when the subject of the sentence the person or thing doing the action of the verb or in the state expressed by the verb. This is the voice with which we are most familiar-the subject performs the action of the sentence. 主动态-句中的主语的人或物做出动作或是处于动词所表述的状态，这就是我们最熟悉的主动态-句中主语是动作的执行者。 Passive Voice-when the subject of the sentence is being acted upon. The subject of the sentence is not performing the action. Instead, it is receiving the action. 被动态-句中的主语是动作的承受者。主语不执行动作，而是接受动作。 Most writers do not use passive voice. Passive voice should only be used when you need to emphasize the thing that is being acted upon. 很多人不使用被动态。只有需要强调接受动作的事物时，才使用被动态。 To write a sentence in the passive voice, you must use an auxiliary verb, or "helping" verb. 用被动态写句子，必须使用助动词。 |
